What qualifies as a good sewing table chair?
My wife has a sewing machine with table. She would like a chair for the table for Christmas, but I have no idea what would be a good chair to buy, for example, with arm rests or without arm rest. Could some sewing people help a brother out?

Having a sewing machine: that's an Austral idea
No armrests, adjustable height. When she sits in it, her feet should touch the floor and the back of the knee should not be compressed by the edge of the seat. The needleplate should be at the same level or slightly lower than her forearms as she sits comfortably... most tables are too tall for sewing machines.
If you can't lower the table, raise the chair seat and build a footrest and a place for the pedal.
