i am designing a sewing room and i want tables on three walls, but i am not sure what heighth to make them. I want them to be comfortable to sit and sew but also to cut out fabric.

I have a singer sewing machine 500A with sewing table, original accessories and box and the manuel. It is in excellant shape. I am the 2nd owner. The sewing table does have some spray paint on the side. The original owner was going to paint it but stopped at that one side. I paid nothing for it. It was on Craigslist for free.What is the value?

I have been trying to find a small desk forever and have been searching online, garage sales, etc. I found a desk i love however it is a sewing table. . .meaning once I take the machine out it will have a big hole it. I don't want to put a piece of wood over as it will look tacky. . .any other ideas on how to fix it or cover the hole?

My husband brought home an old sewing machine from the 1940's it still works great and came built in with the sewing table and everything. I am just trying to get an idea of what kinds of things you like to have available at all times on the craft service table. I am thinking about importing arts (pictures, crafts, dividers, tables and etc) from Asia (Japan, China, S.Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, India...). The arts I am planning to import are not too high end. These are for middle class Americans to afford to pay. Does anyone know about duty/tariff and import procedures on these? Thanks in advance!!

It belonged to my great grand mother (absolutely not for sale btw). It's german and it has a wheel and a foot peddal. it kinda looks like a desk and it has a stool with it. my mom says it's from ww2, but it has got to be older.... so if you know pls tell me. all google searches were a waste of time

I had this really neat vintage sewing room set, I then got sims 3 and figured I didn't need my sims 2 stuff and deleted everything, then I found out I sims 3 sucked (in my opinion) and so I'm back to sims 2 and trying to find everything again. I'm having trouble with this one though. It was red velvet and dark wood, not sure if there were other colors, it had a sewing basket, a large and small sewing box, a stool, a couple mannequins, and a project bulletin board, I think it had a couple other pieces but these were the ones I used and so they're the only ones I remember. If anyone knows where I can find these I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I collect antique sewing machines, and recently purchased a Singer 15-91 in cabinet style 40. I'm working on restoring the machine, and would love to find the matching stool, but have no idea where to start (aside from spending $150 on ebay). Collecting these machines is an inexpensive hobby, so I'm not looking to pour lots of money into this, but I'd like a complete set. Any ideas on finding an antique stool that was separated from its cabinet? There IS a matching stool that goes with cabinet style 40. I plan on placing this table behind my living room couch. Keep plans simple and functional. Materials used can be plywood and 2x2's or 2x4's or even framework of PVC. I tried to explain to my husband. He doesn't get it. His idea for a sewing table is much more complicated and detailed. I just want something simple and functional. Something I can build myself.
